Castor Oil

Castor oil, made from castor beans, is a remedy that has ben used since ancient Egypt. Traditionally it is used internally as a laxative but rather is encouraged for external use instead as excessive internal use is considered by some to be potentially toxic.

Externally, Castor oil is still exceptionally effective for remedying constapation. This is a great alternative to laxatives as laxatives flush fluids from the body to losen the bowels which can cause even greater discomfort and result in dehydration.

Curing Constapation:
  • Soak a small rag, cloth or towel in castor oil

  • Place it, still wet, flat over the abdomen

  • Cover with saran wrap or a plastic bag

  • Then place a hot water bottle or a heating blanket over the plastic bag

  • Leave on for 45-60 min while sitting or lying down

You should experience relief shortly after or the next morning.

What's fantastic is this same remedy can be applied for an abundance of other ailments, such as: jammed fingers, arthritis, insomnia, PMS and much much more. Check out the attached link to view descriptions and directions for other remedies.
